As approved by the Miss America Board of Directors September 4, 2021

A delegate must be a citizen of the United States of America.

A Teen delegate shall not be less than thirteen years of age. For avoidance of doubt, 13 year-olds to 18-year-olds as of the last day in the calendar year of the state Competition in which she competes (December 31^st) are eligible.
